This can give you a great deal of insight into your current spending habits and make you more aware of problem areas. You also need to check that the information is correct. If there is anything that is questionable, you should write to the credit bureau and dispute it.
Once everything is in order with your credit report, you want to start working your money in a manner that would reflect positively on your credit record – paying your bills on time would be one big factor. After one year you should start to notice some changes on your credit record, but it will really take two or more years for best results. However long it takes, it will be well worth it.
